Swanky Canine is a mobile in home dog grooming service for the Longmont, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Erie, Mead, Firestone, Dacono, and Frederick area. I provide a full-service solution for grooming your furry family member in their natural surroundings, in the comfort of your home, with the least amount of stress on your loved one.

What is house call grooming and why choose it?

House call grooming is a true luxury experience for both you and your dog. I bring all my equipment and set up a mini grooming salon in a room of your choosing (generally a bathroom or laundry room is fine), groom Fluffy, and do the cleaning up at the end. This method of grooming gives you the convenience of not having to leave the house or drop your dog at the groomer’s for an extended amount of time, while giving your furry loved one a comfortable low stress grooming experience. House call is perfect for elderly or anxious dogs as they get lots of one on one attention. 

1. First, schedule an appointment.

-If this is the first time meeting your furry companion, I feel the best thing is to contact each other for a quick get-to-know each other and discuss the details of which services you seek.

2. Confirm appointment and services needed.
I will confirm your appointment and the services to be performed via text or email after our call.

3. Prepare a space in your home before my visit.
I ask that you prepare the area in your home where you would like me to groom your furry companion. Usually your laundry room, bathroom, or kitchen work best. I can also groom outside in your garage if their is adequate space for my grooming table and power for the clippers and dryer. This is unique to each client and I am more than willing to work with you to find the best solution to provide a gentle and humane groom for your loved one.

Brush/Bath

Basic Swanky

• Nail cut and file
• Ear cleansing & ear hair plucking (if needed)
• Anal Gland expression (if needed)
• Cleansing bath with a gentle hypo allergenic shampoo and conditioner
• Blow dry with ear protection included
• Full body brush out
• Finishing spray to keep the coat feeling silky smooth and tangle free
• Styling bows or bandana if desired

Full Service Groom

This service consists of everything listed under the Basic Swanky but includes a professional haircut tailored to each individual dog’s breed, lifestyle, and owner preference.

Bath and Tidy

This service includes the basic swanky plus a”tidy,” which is a feet, face, and fanny trim. It is perfect for dog’s who are on a regular schedule and need a freshen up between haircuts or for puppy’s first groom.

Nail trims

Stand alone nail trims are available between grooms also. For $20 I will cut and file those nails down to keep the clicking at bay.

I truly love what I do and I feel it shows with how much care I show every fur child I groom. I am CPR and pet first aid certified as well as an AKC certified S.A.F.E groomer.
